My work has always been about contact, connection, and collaboration with others. The stillness of this moment has given me time to reflect on why I’ve been drawn to those themes throughout my career. Of course, I can’t help but long for the moments where I was in a new place, lost in a crowd, meeting new friends.
Starting in 2011, as part of the Postcards From America project, I began to make work across the U.S. in the Southwest, Florida, New York, California, Arkansas, Mississippi, and more. This extensive body of work glimpses into the changing social climate of a country struggling to define itself.
